From Air Defense Officer to Entertainment Pioneer

Bill Roedy is a member of the West Point Class of 1970. His active service from 1970 until 1977 as an Air Defense Artillery officer included a tour in Vietnam and command of a nuclear missile unit in Italy. After leaving the Army, Bill attended Harvard Business School, worked as a vice president at HBO, and served as chairman and CEO of MTV Networks International. In this interview, he describes his experiences at West Point, leadership lessons from his time in the Army, and his work with HBO and MTV.
